    Model Railroading

Well, I was looking around my basement today for something and I stumbled upon my little HO scale model railroad setup. I turned it on and ran a few runs through it(I even remembered my switch pattern and operations). Anywho, It makes me want to get back into it just as something to do on rainy days, ya know?

Anyone else still play with the trains in their basement?

Not quite the same scale but yeah, I'm into model railroading.

N-scale here! Although the project has been on hold for over a year now... it's in storage since the move into our new house. I've got some work to do in the train room before they go in. I just never seem to have the time... there's always something else than needs to be done.

I've had a thing for trains since I was a little kid.

Though I do not actually own any displays, I do help my local community setup the holiday train display every year. this is a pretty big layout which takes up the gun range at the local police station. It's as long as the range and is 6 lanes wide. I have some pics some place of this layout that I'll ty to remember to post later.

i dont do actual model railroading for lack of money, but i do use the awesome editor in the game trainz to set up my "model" railroads. you can even choose any scale you want. and best of all, when you are done, you can drive the trains!!!

i also use microsoft train simulator, sims are the one thing microsoft is good at
