The clubs are 500 yards from my house... So yeah we can drive there then park back at my place and walk in...

I'm thinking about that. Getting a paintball truck/suv/4X4 that I don't care about getting messy or keeping my paintball stuff in...

outstanding choice in cars. and yes, an alternate form of transport would be required for getting to fort. im sure something can be worked out.

btw, is it difficult having to drive and shift from the other seat? i have thought that shifting would be the single most difficult thing to get used to between here and england.

Just curious, if you bought new why not wait a little longer and go with the C6's?

Either way nice car, a friend of mine has a black '03 similar to yours. Certianly one FAST car (and my friends doesn't even have the Z06)

Because the C6 won't be available for months yet. And I needed wheels, this is my only transport. Also the C6 will be very expensive when it first comes out... and because it IS coming out I got this one relatively cheap.

Also I don't like the front of the new C6 all that much.

Shifting is no problem. Using centre mirror instead of side mirrors is harder.

hmm, i had no idea there were no centre mirrors in england. im not sure if i could drive with out one. i would break out in a cold sweat and just sit in my seat in utter panic wondering how i could go forward without seeing behind me!

I suggest for a beater, a used Yukon 4x4. Can find them around Texas dirt cheap, have less than 100k miles, already have offroad setup(dirt tires, lift, etc), and have a good system. My friend got his Yukon totally decked with the previous things for $7k recently. He goes offroading(which I doubt you will do, but hey, its a Texas pastime near mudpits )and has no problems, goes to a carwash, and makes a great daily driver. Not to mention you get to look down on ricers...literally or crush them if you wanted

Also nice 'Vette, I love that gray silver color. Come to East Texas and have fun in the twisties and curves, but remember if you ever loose control, the tree always wins Heck even Carrol Shelby of the Cobra fame used to drive around here alot and said it himself on a news station, "I love East Texas back country roads, lots of curves, and beautiful scenery."

We do have centre mirrors in the UK but obviously it's on the other side of you when you sit in the car, that's why currently I keep looking to my drivers mirror as if it was my centre mirror... my normal reaction to look for my centre mirror is to look to the left.

I'm going to rectify that problem, don't you worry . Only difficulty is cruiser (Big Dog bike looks tempting...) or a sports bike. Not sure yet, but I think the cruiser is winning out.

Nice! I'll bare both points in mind. That's exactly what I am looking for in a second vehicle. Thanks.
