the company(asc) that did the conversion for chevy added strengtheners to the rockers of the verts. by doing this they blocked the lower fender mount. they modified the fenders by cutting and welding in some sort of special bracket. im not sure if i can cut a new fender to match yet as i havnt pulled the fender off the car yet. to get a left over new vert fender is very expensive. im hoping i can fix whats there or modify a regular fender like asc did.

thirdgen.org is great. ive gone there on and off for the last 5 years or so.

                        ill join in as well.

camaro is a true iroc, 1989. i sold it 2 years ago if i remember correctly. dont blame me for that tag on the front of it, it was given to me!!!
the vette was my first car, it is in storage in virginia in my hometown. that car taught me the value of a dollar.....well a lot of dollars.
now i drive a chevy truck (see a trend) and an old subura wagon to drive to school and for winter. huge difference in vehicles huh??!!

and one of me with my baby, just for proof wow i look so dorky, as usual.

whoa...your first car was a freaking vette? the insurance on that alone would break me.

funny thing about the insurance is that it was cheaper than any of the other cars i had or have. but when i got that car is was not too drivable. i spent thousands on that car, but they were well spent.

Maybie classic car insurance on the vette? And depending on the options in all the cars, the subaru and that camaro could be faster than that vette which would explain a higher insurance rate I guess.
