i was at my friends house for the entire weekend down in yarmouth (cape cod) ((massachusetts)), and he asks me if i wanna go to this place called area 52. we get there, walk in and i see 24 computers, all exactly alike, extremely expensive. the lighting is in my opinion, perfect for gaming. they had basically all new releases, no games that u payed for online though (basically MMORPGs). heres how it works:u can pay by the hour for 6.30, or by as much money as you have, or just buy an "unlimited" for 21$. this was not bad considering u got to use these high end computers with all these new games. on saturday we were there from about 5 o clock at night to about 4 in the morning, that place was addicting. then we decided to go back on sunday, at like 1 then till about 5 30, then went back to his house to watch the superbowl, then went back after and spent another 3 hours. it was possibly the greatest gaming experience of my life, theres nothing like owning someone in CS and then being able to yell "you suck" and actually talk to ur team mates in person instead of chatting. also i was wondering, does anyone else have one of these computer arcades around them?

that sounds awesome... especially if you have no money to own one of those "high end systems"
ive heard of only a few, and they are all in new york, chicago
there are also cyber-cafes, which arent meant for gaming but rather sipping coffee and checking emailYummy yummy yummy, I've got fun in my tummy.

i dont think that will be a problem, they have some pretty frequent customers, and they also have like a snack bar kind of, and also at one point the place was almost full.

these are very very common over sees, just picking up in the states. but get this:
if you go to paintball panic in pensacola florida, the pro shop shares the same building as a gaming cafe, they are in a joint venture, and have the field out back. its great, you go and play paintball all day, and when it starts to die down, you go and play vid games.Zaszczycają waszą ojczyznę

man that's extremely pricey...
I play on pentium 4's, good lighting, 7 bucks for 5 hours. or 10 bucks for unlimited play. But the place is open weird hours so it's sometimes hard to get good play when you want to. Actually, the hours are only bad on sundays...

My feedback if you've dealt with me, leave some...

That's great
So your new rig is capable of running 4 year old games? NEAAAAAAAAT.

not sure what road dansim, but it is in yarmouth. as for having call of duty, not yet but very expected my friend says. these computers have like 256 mb video cards, pentium 4's, extremely cool cases, and they handle every game on them on any screen resolution or setting with ease
edit-hey dansim if ur going down there soon during a weekend, we might be able to meet up. or we could even get a group of ppl together and have a AO NE gaming day?Last edited by sharpshooter1286; 02-04-2004, 08:07 PM.

They're all over the place here.
My friend actually owns one...right next to a catholic high school. Right after school they're packed. Crazy busy for hours.

Theirs one here, and it's great, it's in a house, so theirs lots of differnt rooms, and they have some with ps2, ect. It's only like 1.25 an hour, and all you do is sign up for a card, then sign in and out whenever you are playing/not playing, and before you leave you pay them. Theirs a little window that shows how much time you've used, and how much money you've spent, and you can use that window to call down to the snack bar, and they bring you all the food you want, and it all get's added onto your tab, so when You've spent all you want to, you give them the money and leave. It's a nice place.Comment
