Can't wait to see it. yes I know the ending BUT it didn't stop people from seeing Apollo 13 or Titanic.

By the way I know you were kidding but I just had to say what I said.
      *SLAP*

I loved the mighty ducks, so it aint a insult, well, actualy it is, but I just realy think this looks alot like it, team sucks, team faces team that is better than them, team wins, and they all grow toeager and live happpliy ever after, *tear* I'm not gonna cry, but it's just so touching.

But the US National team DIDN'T suck... I think the point everybody's trying to make is the only similarity between these two movies is that A) they happen to be about hockey, and B) they're both made by Disney. After that, they're two different movies. Miracle being the better, truer, more elevated movie.

                It is unanimous Lopy!

That is like saying Eight Men Out and Major League are the same because they are both baseball movies.

Or Field of Dreams is the same as Angels in the Outfield.

                Or....

                You get my point.

I am suprised you didn't compare this to Slapstick.

lets do the math, I'm gonna compare to D2, cuz I own that movie.

Both about Team USA, Both are SECOND best in the league behind a team that is way better than them, (russia, iceland) Both beat said team meraculously. Everyone is happy.

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it *****!

First off the USA team wasn't expected to get past ANYONE. They were good enough to make it to the event but they surpassed more then one team to get the gold. The big team being Russia. By comparing this to D2, which is a bunch of teen's that can't act + it is very unlikely they would ALL make the team, and your comparing it to a movie that is based on a true story with some of the actual players sons acting as their father. Apples and Oranges.

                      1) The US team was seeded 7th out of 12 teams in open play, not 2nd.

                      2) The US team made it through open play going 4-0-1, including an sweet win over the Czech team 7-4. This is in comparison to the Soviet team that was winning by just a bit...like 16-0, 17-4, etc.

                      3) The US team was amatures. The soviet team were basically professionals and had players like Tretiak, Mikhailov, Fetisov.

                      4) The Soviet team just wasn't good, they were viewed as unstoppable. They had taken gold in 6 of the last 7 olympics. Over 20 years of international tournament wins.

Oh yeah. And it really happened.
