Anyway, the story doesn't say who is not letting them wear the skirts. Is there a law? Or are the protesting against narrow-mindedness? <- Is this a word?:)

I think it is just a protest against narrow-mindedness. I saw something like that on Oprah once (about 15 years ago). It is true that women have many more fashion options than we do, but I don't think it will ever catch on.

Even in the early twentieth century it was customary for baby boys to be clothed in dresses. Much easier to change the diapers, I would imagine. :)

why? simply why? arnt pants good enough? and secondly, no one wants to see guys wearing skirts/short shorts, etc. Simply not cool.
