    Poker anyone?

Like, at my college, ever since ESPN aired the "World Series of Poker" my friends and I can't get enough of playing Texas Hold 'Em and such and talk all day about Rounders, Chris MoneyMaker...etc

is that just at Duke or is it a real big thing?

we've been having poker nights pretty regularly around my house for about 10 years now.

mostly it's an excuse to drink heinously expensive single malts and smoke cuban cigars.

Yup, those televised poker games got us playing during lunch at work too. I wonder if there is some company policy about gambling at work?

We don't play too often, but we watch the series religously when it's on
I'm way too old for this ****.

We have poker night about once a month. Though I do play, I refuse to actually gamble money. I do not gamble mainly because once I start I don't stop... Yes, I do have a problem, but I can control it:)

              Edit:
              Rounders...what a great movie.

Actually the last time I watched a couple weeks ago on ESPN, there was some young Finnish champion. The announcers kept mentioning that he was the captain of the Finnish national champion paintball team too! And he was a very cool customer at the table too.

Must be a thing about paintballers and poker.

I have no idea how to play and don't really care to. I get bored and loose interest real fast. *shrugs

I do like to play "Go Fish" though.
