AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Can anyone give me some advice on what board / bindings I should get?
There's a used K2 at REI, would that be worth buying for $90?

and we can tell you what to buy, but it pretty much boils down to what you see when you walk into the store, and what comes in your size. Just stick to main brands if you want a nice one IE: Burton, Forum, Rossignal, Ride....ETC.
Remember the most important parts are your boots. make sure they fit, or it will suck. Its like your mask in paintball. Think of a crappy scratched mask that always fogs and falls off your head. Thats the same as boots that dont fit.
ps: if you wait a couple months everything will be on sale because the season will be over.

I need your weight, how tall are you, what foot size you wear (important for snowboard width and boot size) want freestyle or freeride? Center stance of 1'' setback, do you like your board stiff, firm or soft? Want step-in or strap bindings? Tell me exactly what you want and I'll tell you which brand model to go. I used to sell that for 5 years.
I have snowboarding stuff for sale, mostly high end goods.
i have a k2 zeppelin. very very nice board. has lots of flexibility for jumps, and is great for just riding the mountain. sick control, too. kinda expensive though lol.

I heard snowboarding is harder to start, but easier to get better at and the opposite for skiing.
