OMG! Those Wacky Protestors are going after Chocolate!

    Wow.

Those wacky anti-globalization protestors are going after Gold and Chocolate on Valentines Day. Don't these people have any jobs?

Did you actually read the whole article? The way it reads (if true) makes these guys stand up role models for special interest groups. Unlike supid PETA, these guys seem to take an intelligent and reasonable stance on things. They're not being destructive, they're informing and talking.

Not that I'm an activist or anything, but so far I think I can respect how this group is handling things.

So you're saying that oppressive child labor in Africa and the environmental destruction caused by mining gold baubles are a good thing?

            Yes I read it.

It just seems that the timing is not so great. Why now? Because they can cause the most economic damage.

I don't think anyone is for child labor(except Michael Jackson, but for a whole different reason).

I think the timing is more likely to capitalize on the publicity of Valentines Day.
