I swear my stereo is haunted or somthing

I turn on the radio, and walk out of the room, as soon as I get passed the speaker by the door the sound stops. I step back in the sound starts again, repete process about 20 times. It works fine as long as I am somewhere in the room, but as soon as I pass that speaker nomatter how far away or whatever I get it won't play.
I think my stereo is haunted, and the ghost has seperation anxiety issues.

I can change stations by moving my hand around my stereo. It's because of the electricity in your body.

That's nothing, I think I got a display model or something. The buttons are contantly flashing, and it like advertises all of it's features all day long. At night, it lights up my room with it's flasyness. I would throw a towell or somethign over itbut after about 3 years i got used to it, lol.

most stereos do that. look it up in your manual. there's a way to turn it off.

I've had my cheap stereo pick up walkies that construction workers use only 3 times though must have been some high powered walkies.

Mine works fine, but the damn thing never can pick up ANY radio stations. And, it's not just this one, it's any radio that I've ever owned.

Mine is from the 70's, so no flasht displays. When it was made it had no idea of the type of music it would be playing today. Maybie it wants a trip back in time.
/me puts on oldies and watchs his stereo smile

My guitar amplifier picks up two way radio signals too. I can get AEP and Ameritech loud and clear if there are utility vans within about a quarter of a mile of my place.
