umm theres no reason to make an Agility DK you will have to have a lot of strength to equip armour later on so you should probably rethink that one.

Well all I saying about being old enough to remember is that just about everyone around me (being 25 and up) doesn't remember them. Kinda surprised someone so young does. Must have not been deprived as a child. Or just didnt like the games at the time.

If you have a DK, you need to stack your stats on strength - stacking on agility is really dumb to do. DKs are not meant to be fast, they are meant to be work horses. Stacking on agility is better suited for A-Elfs.

Elves don't need to use melee weapons, the bows do way more damage. Although, my elf could probably punch your DK to death pretty quickly. Hehehe.

well i WAS trying to get a really high attack rate on my dk. i was doing slightly more agility than strength. guess i'll give up on that if you guys say it's not worth it.

as for my elf now that i've leveled up to where i can use a normal bow instead of a short bow that's true. but between a short bow and a short sword, the short sword gets the advantage. besides the fact that the short sword allowed me to use a buckler and at that point i needed the protection. what do you recommend doing first with my elf? increase magic power so i can use the goblin summoning stone and healing magic or increase strength and agility so i can use the better equipment?

Your atk rate comes from your str your atk speed comes from agility. For your elf right now put it in agility and str cuz the goblins not gonna help u much anyhow and you will need better equipment.

An elf's damage is calculated by both agility and strength... where agility doesn't do that with a DK.

My friend has a level 100+ agility DK, and it is retarded. He can't wear the good gear, he can't kill stuff like he should. He kind of wasted his time on that character, and he started a new one. Don't waste your time on agility with a DK, unless you need to wear something that requires a particular agility level.

right attack speed is what i meant. the idea of a char that would be a whirlwind of slashing blades tickled my fancy, so i was going pretty much 3a-2s most levels. oh well. at least i'm harder to hit than most chars at my level. what is attack rate anyway? thanks for all the help you two.

oh yeah. i'd also like to say people are retarded. why would you attempt to sell gear that you value at 30k to somebody half naked holding an axe? not only can't they use it for most likely 20+ levels from where they are, there's no way in hell that they have that kind of money. i have a dark mage now. MetalFlame, yeah i got lazy and noone seems to have taken names starting with metal. at the time i was lvl 4. i said so before the guy started the trade. "i'm only level 4. i don't have much money." he offers me some crazy staff and asks for 25k. know how much zen i had? 937! personally i try to sell stuff to people who are similarly equipped to how i was just a few levels ago.

In Korea they have a pay version, not in the US. As far as I know, the beta will always be free. But eventually there will be a pay version for the U.S. that has more stuff in it - current rumors. And your beta account can be transferred.

Also, the one-hit hacks believe it or not... are allowed on purpose. And, they know who is hacking. See, if you notice there are people who try to sell "hacks" for valuable items. What they do is, an admin can create these items on the fly and buy the hack - they can also take it back from your character.

They analyze the hack to see if it's a new one, so they can remove it from the real game. I've heard that they are done with this, and the hacks will be disabled soon - with the addition of a new level as well. I'm speculating that they may kill hacker accounts, which would be so sweet. Those jerks can have a level 0 dude, kill your dude in one hit regardless of your level... incredibly annoying. So if you see some dude running around with no gear, and kills you or a monster in one hit - one hit hack.
