What is your worst injury ever?

1.
I was about 5 and we were playing a nice game of kroket (crow-kay) (lol) and my brothers friend swung the mallet and i got smacked in the forhead. I have like 10 stiches inside and outside of my head.


2.
Don't try front flips on bikes. I tried a frontflip on my bike and did not land it. The chain disc on the bike swung around and hit my right beside the eye. (about 3 cm away from my eye) They just put this "crazy" glue on the cut wich sealed it. I had a concusion and a tennis ball size bump on my (crow-kay) mallet scar. I had to stay over night in the hospital because they weren't sure if I had internal bleeding in my head. Luckily I didn't.
O yeah...and WEAR HELMETS KIDS! (most of this could have been avioded if I would have wore it...it was the first time I didn't wear a helmet since I started jumping)

True story.....I hit the front brakes on a mountain bike...But I DO jump.

3.
One time my 4 brothers and I were playing a good 'ole game of tag and we had this heavy sliding door. I was it and was chasing one of them. He got outside slid the door and crushed my finger. Half of it was hanging off the rest of my finger by a piece of skin.

I was riding a scooter when I was young("er") and this huge dog came up and bit my tushy. I don't remeber the rest....

I was swinging n our old swing set and flipped off and slit the back of my head open.

Chopped an inch of left pointer and middle finger in shop class. Was making a cut on a dado blade(makes wide grooves) and lifted the board up by both ends. When the board comes flying back you don't want your fingers in the way. I'm still taking shop classes by the way, and shocking myself with my own good work.
Other then that I've only sprained an ankle and chipped a tooth when I was young, neither of them needed hospital care.

electricuted- i was young and stuck 2 corn on the cob holders in an outlet

cracked scull- fell down cement stairs into my basement. once again, i was young.

2 hurnias(sp?)- 1 on each side.

In a skiing accident I crushed 4 spinal vertebrae. Although I'm as recovered as I will ever get, (4 years later.) I still get these funny chills that run through my body every time someone pats me on the back. One time someone threw a baseball at me, and it hit my back.I started having spasm's. Not good.

Dislocated my left elbow,I hyper-extended it backards, went PT but now it won't fully straighten out. Had my left hand run over by a Cadillac. Had my rt ring finger knuckle blown apart.

Well, my coolest accident(cool cause it didn't hurt but looked like it did ) was when i was at the beach racing my friend down a hill on bikes and my brakes died(rented bike) and there was a dead end with some very thick brush(thorns, large trees, bushes) and i couldn't stop. I go flying in my bike flips on a stump and i go flying VERY far through some very thick bushes and eventually rolling to a stop on the ground. Only got cut up, no broken bones. My friend said it looked like it was very painful flying from my bike a very long distance while being slowed down by trees and bushes. (we were going fast, actually trying ot see who could make the longest skid mark when we stop)

I guess i'm pretty lucky, i just got up and fixed my bike after that.

Age 10 Went to Shoprite with a friend against mothers wishes. She decided to go to shoprite we saw her we ran. I ran right into the dirt picker upper part of the back hoe. Knocked unconsious.


Age 12 Having a snow ball fight at ice rink. Fell on head walked over to bench it got dark passed out cracked my head on ice. Minor Concussion.


Age 13 Ran into parked car (this was not one of my smarter moments) Got bad arse scar on wrist.

Age 14 Caught close on fire burned myself. At Survival NY got shot from 3' in the back of the head, fell down a small mountain smacked head against rock. Minor concussion, massive welts.

Somewhere around here I think in 6th or 7th grade I was racing to bus fell down stairs fudged up ankle still bothers me to this day. After 10 I have basicly destroyed my brain. Funny thing is i still have something like a 145 IQ I think....

I skateboard... so this list should be pretty long, but I'll just put the most recent stuff.

I broke my wrist a little while ago, it sucked.

4 months ago I fell, it hurt, but not that bad so I didn't get it looked at. I went to the doctor 1 month ago for a physical and told them that my hip still hurt. They X-rayed it, bad news. I had pulled my groin muscle so badly that it pulled a piece off of my leg. Luckily it is healing well, because surgery is no fun.

A couple weeks ago the monitor of my computer caught on fire out of no where, just as I was getting into bed. If I had gone to sleep earlier, this post would be a lot shorter. (If your monitor ever makes an incredibly high pitched sound... get it out of you house)

Wow,
you guys are battered and broken. I only got stabbed twice, been hit by a car, shattered ribs on the right side, tore my right miniscus in half, tore scar tissue off of knee while tearing PCL ligament seven times(no surgery)....broken wrist, broken ankle, broken middle finger knuckle from some dude's head, broken nose twice, cracked skull, torn lower back muscles, stabbed in left shoulder with metal fork, got food poisoning and puked for two days straight, ended up in ER to get rehydrated with 3 liters of saline solution. stepped on broken bottle at beach, shredded both bottoms of feet. Got thrown through a plate glass window by older brother. Also split scalp open with Airvent grating from wall by older brother. busted nuts on handrail skateboarding. Last but not least, got bit in the face by a dag at age seven...squeezed his balls till he passed out and stopped biting me.

1. Shanked with a pen.
2. Hit by a car while riding "ghetto bike"
3. Pushed off the roof of my elementary school on ghetto bike.
4. Kicked in the throat by my twin.
5. Hit in the nuts with a 2x4 by my friends friend.
6. I think I've had some cracked ribs but I never go to the hospital...so I can't be sure.

I will probably win!

10 years old: Riding on the back of a three wheeler with
a friend, and ran over a disc they plow the fields with. Cut my left leg to the bone and cut the muscle in two. Over 60 stitches required.
12 years old: Watching a friend of mine hit rocks with a broken pool cue, and it slipped and went right through my cheek. 10 stitches.
25 years old: This takes the cake! I was remodeling my house and dropped my circular saw which broke the guard off. Being poor I couldn't just go buy a new saw( do you see this coming!) I was ripping a piece of plywood in half and the saw kicked back and got my stomach. The funny part was my wife was 8 months pregnant at the time, and when we walked in the hospital I was holding my stomach(together!) and she was holding her stomach and the nurse didn't know who to give the wheelchair to. LOL. The doctor told me that if I wasn't fat it would have done major damage. I don't think I wil ever hear a doctor tell me that being fat was good ever again.
