Anyone work in a computer/tech store?

I've been charged with buying a memory tester for my company, but it's been 8 or 10 years since I've even been around one (I'm talking pre 72pin EDO) so I'm not familiar with everything on the market.

I think I've settled on the Ramcheck Plus, but I'm wondering if there are any alternatives.

Anyone around AO work as a PC tech know about these?

they have a review on RAM in this months MaximumPC magazine

they talked about ram testers also
    this is what they said

"The best way to test memeory is with a hardware tester.
We like the R.S.T Pro2(Ram stress test) card made by
Ultra-X. www.uxd.com It plugs into a pci slot, tests virtually every type of memory while installed in the computer, and works with the latest processors and chipsets.

Hardware testers cost serious bucks. Fortunately, there are several free testing programs availible which can help you detect some problems with memory. Our favorite is
Memtest 86, availibable from www.memtest86.com You can also download Doc Memory from www.simmtester.com"

    hope this helps
if it dont or its wrong thing....well...my bad
