superstitions

Do you guys have any superstitions in paintball and in life in general?
the only one i can think of is that i never talk bad about my car if im within earshot of it, and if i do i apologize too it, wouldn't wanna anger the machine god now would we.

so lets hear em, whats yours?

I use anti-superstitions.

I figure the only way to overcome bad luck is to heave it all upon you and still prevail.

I do what ever I think will bring it on,speaking positively 'before' I do something,bringing up possible disasters,wearing or carrying things that I did during a previous 'bad' day/competition etc.

Therefore, nothing is associated with a jinx or superstition.

Since I believe that 'superstitions' are simply a state of mind and act on a persons subconscious,this usually eliminates that possibility.

I've found that if I hump my gun before a day of play, it preforms worse on the field the next day.

I dance a jig around each paintball before I load my hopper and pods for a game.

Every time before I play a tournement, not practice, I take off my chain necklace, but leave my ball necklace (not a typical ball necklace... this one is literally over 10 years old ) And I wear my dads bands shirt (mishaps) under my jersey. I also HAVE to wear my 3.5 foot long stocking cap under my mask, with a headband underneith. Yes I would play without that stuff, but everything has a certain meaning to me so I try to keep it with me whenever I can.

not much, but before tournaments, i wear my pants and jersey into bed and sleep with em.

When i wake up in the morning i feel like i have been playing all night :] :]

The one major one is that I always wear one sock inside out. Every day. Every time I wear both right side ouot, I have a really bad day.

OK , I do this alot too. Ever seen finding forester? yeah sean connery did that in the movie too.. been doin it quite often now

I always take a dump before tests and sporting events. Even if I don't have to. If I don't, then I'm in trouble...

I take the tabs off of soda cans before i drink from them.

I can be pretty supersitions, I get it from playing baseball my whole life. I don't really have one certain thing I always do.
