Well, you should have CD backups of this anyhow. Trust me, nothing sucks worse than having MS Scandisk hose a partition with 100Gb+ of MP3s on it, regardless of whether they're legal or not.

All the photoshop and stuff. Can those be burnt to CD in their folder, and still work on a new computer?

Not really. There is a Windows service named the Registry that stores vital program information. You'll need to reinstall most all apps you want to run from their source CDs. For what it sounds like you want to do, you might want to investigate a utility from Symantec named Norton Ghost. Ghost 2000 Personal Edition is usually available for under $20.
