    Maynard Ferguson Concert here!

    Maynard Ferguson in Concert at Danel High school here in Clemson SC on April 17th.

    One of the greatest Jazz trumpet player of all times.

    Daniel HS Jazz band opening for him at his request...


    AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!

      ah, lucky you! my dad is a freak about this guy(he's a trumpet player himself), when he came out here i had to go to court and unfortunatly missed it. but being as old as he is and still playing amazingly is impressive!

      anywho, have fun!

              ya... he ain't much to look at.

              He is swinging back through the area and he remembered the Daniel High Jazz band opened for him in a little music hall in Greenville SC back a few months ago. Apparently he likes to stop and play Colleges and High Schools while he is in town. So he had his booking agent call em up because he was going to be in Asheville NC (a few hours away) that weekend doing a show and asked them if they wanted him and would the Jazz band open it up for him. Nice of him to remember and do this. Much of the money raised is going to the Schools band too it seems.
