Well, I'm Going For My License Tomorrow

Finally,
Time to take my test. I'm so excited, but kind of worried. I know I'm a good driver and I don't really get nervous. But my brother and dad took off to be there when I take my test. I know they ae going to be dissappointed if I don't pass. I just really don't want to let them down. I know how embarrassing it will be if I don't pass.

Now I have to make sure if I have all the stuff when i take my temps
- social security number
- driving log book
- temps
- teacher's signature
- money
- parent/gaurdian
Am I forgetting anything?

a lawn chair. if you're dmv's are anything like the ones out here..you're gonna be there a loong time. they shut down around 25 across colorado so the ones that are still open are mad houses

I failed my driver's test before I left the driveway. Some other driver did a stupid thing (which I now would expect), I hit the gas for about 2 feet, then the brake when I saw what he was doing. Was still 5-10 feet away from the road...

And that was that.

oh yea, majority of the people at my school who drive have been involved in accidents. Some say it as if they take pride in it too. But I have had mine for just about a year now and the worst thing i have done was slowy back into my sisters car going 2 mph, so harm done(no one saw) so i just left....

Use your blinkers, USE THEM. When you go for a parking space, use blinkers, use them for everything.

YES! My friend took his test yesterday and when he was done with the test and the lady said "Just park over here" and he didnt use the blinker, she failed him.

Oh and make sure to stop at stop signs. Bastard cops love to get ya for that one! (even if you did stop but some woman says you didnt )

How difficult is it to get a license in USA? Here in sweden we have to take a theory test, and then a drivers test. The drivers test takes about 45-60 minutes, and includes pretty much everything: Driving in the city, paralell parking, backing round corners etc. If you fail one thing, you fail the entire test. The reason I'm asking is that a friend of mine lived in USA for 6 months, and got his drivers license there. He said that the test was MUCH easier than what we get here, and I wonder if that's true.
