Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get free dialup. True dialup, not netzero or some other deal. I want it to be platform independant. I hate having to run their special software to dial-up somewhere. I wouldn't even mind paying if they just have good ol' dialup. Something I can put into windows dialer and connect. And something I can put in the linux PPP and connect. I don't want an email account, I don't want web space, I don't want any of that. Just dialup.
If I can't find something nice and plain, I will resort to putting a server at the datacenter I work at and stick a modem in it so that I can dial up through that. But man.. Is it too much to ask...
