Having bought stuff from the KAPP webpage, I received an email about an upcoming tournament series. I'm not a tournament player, but thought I'd pass the info on incase any of the Nor-Cal guys are interested and have not heard about it.

"Nor Cal Championship Series Sets 2004 Events
The Nor Cal Championship Series, new for 2004, has just announced the dates and locations
for the season. The NCCS, which will have a Rookie and Novice Division, will consist of
5 events running from April through September at various fields throughout Northern California.
The series winner from each division will receive an entrance fee to an NPPL event.
Event Dates and Locations are:
April 4 @ KAPP Extreme, Windsor
May 16 @ Midway Paintball, Vacaville
July 11 @ SC Paintball, San Jose
August 15 @ Midway Paintball, Vacaville
September 26 @ KAPP Extreme, Windsor
The NCCS was started to provide Rookie and Novice teams in the area the
chance to challenge themselves against other local teams at events with
top level fields (all airball and hyperball), prizes (over $8000 per event,
and counting) and referees (a minimum of 4 experienced referees per field).
Rookie Entrance Fee: $225 including air ($275 if paid less than 2 weeks prior to event)
Novice Entrance Fee: $275 including air ($325 if paid less than 2 weeks prior to event)
Each event will have a 50 team limit, and no registrations will be accepted less than
1 week before an event. Current sponsors are: National Paintball Supply, Kingman International,
KAPP Products, Custom Products, Worr Games Products, Smart Parts, Straight Shot, DYE Precision,
Pro Team Products, JT USA, NXE, Tippman, and Great American Paintballs.
The events will be field paint only, supplied by Diablo. The prices will be:
Heat $48 prepaid
Nightmare $52 prepaid
Formula 13 $56 prepaid
Crucifire $60 prepaid
All prices will be $10 per case higher if purchased at the event.
