The military wont go with it. First reason (and, if you have ever been in the military, you will know EXACTLY what I am talking about), it will be too comfortable for the soldier. Hence, he/she will fall asleep.
Two, WAY too cost prohibitive. A "combat vehicle" will be expected to take a beating...and, if it does, it will be expected to survive, to a certain degree. Even HMMWVs, when uparmored (and the rear blast door closed), will take a significant amount of small arms fire, and continue to move.
But, it WOULD be cool to drive one.Comment
