Anyone actually EAT at Dave and Busters?

I was thinkin about taking a girl out to D&B, but if the food there sucks I'll take her somewhere else.

Is the food like Applebees quality? Worse? Better?

I've gone there plenty of times, but just for beer and video games

Food was good last time I was there but the wait was horrible, the bill was pretty scary too.

I don't care about the bill so much, I kinda figured that part.

I'll think about it, have until the weekend to make up my mind anyway

You'd be better off making it a late dinner, I believe around ten D&B herds up the rug-rats. Makes for a slightly more enjoyable atmosphere.

Theres like a ton of restaurants there, so eating next door then walking over to D&B is an option too.

I'm still undecided if the drive is worth it though. But thanks for the info anyway.

D&B's food is just fine, and not pricey either unless you start adding liquor to the bill.

I ate at the D&B in Detroit last year... excellent food. I had fish & chips and some Guinness.

We actually went to eat there this past week during the LA PSP with a lot of the guys from NPS. I hadn't actually sat down there to eat and I have to say that it was surprisingly good but the wait for it was long. The food was Applebee's quality.

Yeah Like Futuremagowner said, the one we have here in Providence isn't bad at all, I happen to like the fried mushrooms.

Although we have awesome resturants in RI ....Cafe Nuovo!

                    However, does she like steak???

Take her to Anthony's Steak House in Hoboken! OOOOOOHH Take her to the Pompton Queen Diner "Cheese Fries mmmmmmmmm"

I was actually thinking of going to dinner in Hoboken. And you don't need to go to the Pompton Queen for disco fries, they have them at any diner you go to

on that note frymarker if your down in south kingstown you can check out appetites a little ways off main street i work there (you wont see me there but whatever lol) and its got good sandwiches and stuff (like itallian grinders, chicken salad, bagels, danishes, the whole deal) although my aunt who owns the place is annoying beyond believe i think (dont mention anything about me if you do go though lol) hmmm now that i think about it theres alot of good restaurants not that far from me (the mews YAY!)

anyway for a first date atmosphere i dont know what your looking for however i wouldnt take someone to dave and busters if you dont know them a bit already since the place is very loud lol

Yeah disco fries!!!! And if you're in Hoboken get the tunnel and hit the city.....

Future which resturant is that? Sometimes I am down that way, mostly North Kingston, my Aunt lives there.

I like the Crow's Nest, off Main St.

But then again with 3 kids....we hardly go any where

                            the food was aight....

pretty much mediocre and the same as applebees, there are lots of other options of where to eat in that area now anyways.

D&B's is ok. I wasn't impressed by the food and waiting time but it's fun atmosphere. Went there once with a group after a AO SoCal day.
