hahah this guy omega likes to play it like he dosent really care, but in reality he's posting this because he DOES care. He probably loses sleep over it. A few of the pics in the silly montages made me giggle but that was about it. Otherwise it was just someone looking for attention.

The guy posts [somewhat entertaining] photo storyboards, some of which are funny, some aren't. Ok. You may argue they are pointless, but he had them in the correct forum, and there is tons of pointless stuff that goes on in here. There is no rule I've ever seen that someone who posts here has to play paintball, if in fact he does not.

I mean, he's obviously not too happy in this post, but after his critic post (which I laughed at, because everyone was crapping on his posts) Phil threatened to ban him? Why? The kid isn't allowed to respond to people who were making fun of his pictures? There was nothing wrong with it (I know one of his first sets had the S word in it, oh my).

Like I said, maybe I missed something, but I don't see why this guy was getting threatened with a ban for posting pictures.

For the third time... you missed some things. But perhaps you chose to or just didn't read this entire thread. Some stuff was in PM's by the way. the kid just went off the deep end on me after the first edit of the first time be posted one with cursing in it. And so continued to make mulitple posts with them as well...

Things I took care of in other thread and then things resulting from that which happened in private.... and then of course this obvious thread here... So yea... you missed some things. So how about assuming the opposite might be the case?

I wasn't sayin you were stupid, I just was at a loss to why the guy was getting in trouble. I freely admit to not knowing the whole story. I was at a loss.

This is why I think there should be some sort of explanations posted for bans. Not just to satisfy the nosy, but so mods don't look like they are blindly banning people.

I wasn't trying to attack you, Phil, sorry if I came across that way. 99% of the time, the reason for a ban is obvious though, and this one just came in from left field. One moment he's just being mostly harmless, the next he's banned.

Mea culpa. I still love ya, Phil :) I'll give ya some extra loving next time I'm in SC.

He got banned for cursing. Not once but twice here publicly. And on his very first post here on AO he did it the first time. This was the second "Public one. Not to mention the mulitple posts of the same subject. Three strikes and no effort to comply. Thats what got him.

Sorry Thord. I was a bit too hostile in my defense there. I didn't mean to be. I am a bit touchy sometimes about things I cannot really go into detail in public with. So sometimes in that situation I feel a bit backed into corner and retaliate a bit too harshly. I appologise.

LOL! No seriously its a lot of work banning someone. All the documentation and activities in the control panel and all. Takes about 25 minutes to do that part and recheck and make sure you got them saved right. One time in a hurry I made someone a Mod rather than ban them! Now I make sure I go slower even doing it!

Plus then there is the aftermath. The explanation to the members. So that time is on top of the Administrative actions. So you find its better to talk it out with them and try and work out some understanding within the rules if you can.

As for omega... I thought it was hilarious. He was so MyStErIoUs ... I wish he wasnt banned But I dont blame you after this thread. Then again, I dont see the big deal in his other ones... why was it bothering people? Was it just because they couldnt figgure out the obvious? The obvious being that fact that there was NO point to them...
