Eh... it's not as bad as Panic Room. Couple good bits, some blaring continuity errors... not particularly clever, and just overall oddness. But, Angelina gets half naked and stuff.

It's not a horrible movie... and I wouldn't call it 'bad'... but I wouldn't call it good either. It's 'ok'.

yes, yes i know, i am way behind, but i just saw taking lives tonight. while it certainly wasnt the pinnacle of filmmaking, it was a perfectly good way to spend two hours. some very good shocking/scary parts, even though at times the suspense was a little laughable. and angelina getting nekked too.
