top one appears to be a sabre, and the other is a foil. the top one looks to be real, although maybe it's used for fencing

They were both my grandfathers who collected swords and wouldn't have had anything that was fake.

It is very well used, I have another blade or whatever you call it for it that isn't bent with a rounded tip, and my aunt has the rest of the set. She never figured out what happend to the 4th :)
I found a really old .22 rifle, and both those swords in my grandmothers basement while helping her move, my grandfather left the fencing one accidently when he got divorced and took the other three. The rifle and the calvlry sword sword my grandfather gave to my father when he was younger, and my father left them in the basement when he moved back in with his mother briefly after he was divorced. My damn step grandfather took the rifle, then divorced my grandmother, so I will never see that again
, but I got the swords :) So long as my aunt doesn't find out, I get to keep those :)
