Car Audio: My subs won't work.

Well, I was bumpin' down the road one night and they just stopped. I checked my ground, all my connections, and everything else. I'm pretty sure it's not blown subs for one, they are brand new, and two, they both went out at the same time. I have a Sony Xplod m630 deck and a Bazooka EL1500 amp. I am thinking its either my RCA cables or something internally in my amp. Do you have any other ideas?
EDIT: My subs are two 12" MTX Thunder 6000's 4 ohm wired parallel to the amp.

does the power to your amp have an inline fuse? if so you should check that.
are all your other speakers working? ie tweeters and mid ranges. if they are it's a problem between the reciever to the amp/subs.
if your amp is getting power make sure it's putting out some as well, if not it's a problem with the amp, if it is the you have isolated the problem to atleast the sub enclosure then i would start checking with the speakers and what not....

Well it IS getting power. When I take my ground off the ground spot, the light still stays green. I have tried my subs with a friends amp and my subs worked, so I narrowed it down between speaker wires to subs and the RCAs connecting to the back of the deck.

you could rewire the whole setup if you want
i would first try a friends amp and subs on your car

i had a problem before i was driving down the road and my front right speaker sounded funny but not blown. was really quiet compared to other speakers but sound was clean so i didnt think it was blown. i had it checked out and the prob was a wire was pinched and my speakers were getting 50 watts each and that one was getting 12 watts

I did try out my subs on my friend's amp and my subs did work. I think my amp is fried. I'm just going to try and get a cheap one somewhere to tide me over.

Even if people on here know a lot about systems, im not one of them, I bet its hard to diagnose to problem over the internet.
