WARNING: *******SPOILERS******* do NOT read if you are going to watch the movie, because i'm going to be telling a lot of the plot...
Ok so i watched Cold Creek Manor last night, and i came to the conclusion that it was written by 10 yr olds. i expected a lot because it was up for a lot of awards (or so i thought). well it turns out that there were HUGE holes in the plot. here are some of them.
1. guy gets chased by someone you suppose is dale, but dale doesnt have a truck, remember? then he hits a deer and goes home. huge commotion when he wakes up because everybody sees that he hit something. there is NO blood on the car and the only thing he did was break his headlight. my sister hit a deer and nearly totallyed her blazer. then they find their dead horse in the pool and they think their dad hit it when he was drunk. so he hit the horse that happened to escape from the stable and pulled it into the pool to hide it? makes NO sense.
2. he finds the little girls retainer in the driveway. rocks and teeth are stuck on a metal retainer..hahaha. so he cleans it up and finds teeth in it. its so stupid! dale killed his family with that bullet-hammer, which probably wouldnt knock out the teeth. then he threw them down the well, NOT in the driveway. its so stupid.
3. the mom gets pushed in the well by dale, then when the husband is on his knees helping her out, dale descides not to push him in, even tho hes extremely vulnerable, and instead just goes and blows up their jeep. stupid stupid stupid.
4. when they're on the roof sitting down, dale tells them to stand up and say their last words. WHY would you ask them to stand up when it's easier to hit them with the hammer when they're on the ground?????
5. the kids find a broken off piece of wood that says evil in 1,200 acres of wood. realllly likely
