new online game

hey, a friend just made an online game. Its pretty fun. You built a country in real time. Its not a game you just play for like an hour and then restart. Ive been workin on my country for about a week. You can also attack people to take there land and resources.

Yeah, I made the game with another friend.

It's sort of like Earth 2025, but still in development, and cooler, of course.

Might want to check it out, it's pretty sweet.

To start, just create an account, and then on the front page, a link on the far right says 'Help Test RTS'...yeah, click that, and it's self-explanitory from there.

Or you could've just asked me. Or you could've just like, you know, clicked the names of stuff, since that tells you what each thing does.

You build houses for workers. Each house gives 1 worker and houses 5 population. You get 1 population per minute until you reach your max.

You build farms to provide food for your army. Your citizens are ultra-cyborgs and don't eat food. Not until we code that part, at least.

You have to explore land to build new stuff. Each building requires 1 acre, regardless of size. The land counter at the top of the screen tells you how much land is UNOCCUPIED/TOTAL.

Research is self-explanitory, and if it's not, just click the research title and it says what it does.

Resources, just put as many workers as you want on resources, and they will stay there until you take them off.

Incoming is your incoming attacks. (Duh)

For military construction, ignore the first three buildings, we haven't done the code for them yet. Archer towers just provide your kingdom with defense while your army's not there to guard it.

Research is self-explanitory, again. Training, just train the units you want. It tells you what each one's offensive and defensive ratings are, so no problems there.

War Room is where you attack other players.

The rest is self-explanitory (man, I've overused this word, haven't I?). Anything that has a strikeout, means it's not coded or done yet, so don't worry about those.

aha! i get it now! yea sorry about the rant i had earlier i was getting frustrated :P. but yea ive slowly getting it right now. its a really addicting game! i didnt know that you could click on the names and get descriptions, sorry.

how much time a day do you need to play fgor it to be a good game?


I dont want to sign up and not be able to play every day of the week

As little or as much as you feel. You can be at your PC for a cumulative time of 30 minutes per day, and still do well in this game. That's about what I do. I'm always on, but I don't actually play much anymore, I just supervise and help fix/create more to the game.

This sounds kinda like the book "Ender's Game". Very good book. I might try this out.

this game for me isnt very good theres not enough directions and once u do get them its not that fun to play
