8'' Subwoofer...Car audio

[Bubonic Plauge]

Any of you car audio guys have any advice on a 8'' sub? I was wondering if a 8 with a good amp and well made box will sound good? I have heard that 8's cant get the range compared to a 10 or 12...yet many places sell 8's like crazy. Keep in mind I am not goign to spend a ton of money and dont want to bounce quarters on my roof....

yeah 8" dont get the sound of 10 or 12. if ur gettin a sub look in to 10 or 12, 8 dont cut it.
