    photoshop help

I am trying to make my own sig. I took a pic of my gun and all i want in the pic is the gun. I can't use the magic wand to get rid of everything b/c it selects part of the gun. How do i just get the gun left in the picture. I dont want to do it free hand either.

Well this takes a while to do but you cna use the polygon lasso, or the magic laso (magic lasso is a bit trickier unless theres a BIG contrast in colr of the object and background). Just surround the gun and then right click, invert, then hit backspace to delete the background. Now you should have just the gun there. It is a tad freehand, but not as dependent on the movement of your hand as regular lasso.

I used the polygon lasson and my sig turned out reasonable....(yea it still needs work composition wise but hey no background. ).

    Hope that helps....
