It's called double stroking or bouncing. What he's doing is nothing special, just a little practice. Watch drum corps, sound analyze that stuff. DCI is fast.

We have some band comming to our school that does stuff like that. They use buckets, barrels, pipes and stuff for drums. They made us watch like a 5 minute preview before Kill Bill, it looked pretty sucky.

I went to a hawks (basketball) game and at half time they had two dudes. One guy was drumming like that and the other guy was like tap dancing or something. It was pretty cool.Comment
