I think this might be an interesting thought exercise: Come up with a list of what you think a stupid person would want from the government, and then classify it as a liberal or conservative idea... or if they could be both/neither.

I'll start (but I won't label):

Clown noses for all U.S. Citizens to make them happy.
Government pays for your alcohol when it is happy hour.
Lifetime supply of cheese for everyone.
Invade Canada.

Well, the point I was trying to make with my excercise that I guess nobody cared about... was that it's not that liberals are idiots, it's that idiots (and according to distribution curves, there are a lot of them) become liberals because it appeals to them. Think about it, if you were a moron... would you become a liberal or conservative? Liberalism promises gifts to you, the idiot, at the expense of people smarter than you. What incentive do they have to follow conservative ideas? Seriously.

I don't like this idea of liberal/conservative... as though it were black and white. I think that there are intelligent people who have both liberal and conservative ideas, but they are labeled conservative or liberal when they have certain ideas that stand out as one or the other. Only an idiot would be completely liberal or conservative... there needs to be balance.
