there was a proggie in the chat that when using mirc you can slap someone. When you do this it says "name slaps name around a bit with a small trout" And some peopel got tired of seeing it so they added trout to the 30 sec banned word list. Now if you do it or even say trout...you get a 30 sec ban. Wonder how TK will see it if he comes into the chat and tries talking about trout fishing.

lol this reminds me of a time i was ni walmart and the guys at the exit were handing out like goodie bags i guess on fishing. I get in the car and read some of it and i see "crappie fishing tips" i thought i t was really funny cuz who would give bad tips on fishing? Then my dad told me there was a fish called a crappie

cryer, apparently, there was alot of abuse on the IRC chat with trout slapping (there is an option in IRC, to right click on a user, and "slap them with a large trout") well, from what I understand, It got out of hand one day. so, tato and rob threw a ban up on the word "trout" in the chat. so, anytime someone "slapped another user with a trout" they would get a 30 second ban. seems like a reasonable resoltion to the situation to me. I really dont care. the trout revolution was sort of a joke/spoof (though not really), much like alot of the other "revolutions" that take place on this board.
