Well, it's about time a city actually did something about people not paying their parking tickets. Detroit is putting out a list of the top 100 offenders for unpaid tickets.

I guess I'm going to have to wathch the meter a little closer now, so I don't become one of Detroit's top 100.

I got a parking ticket here, and discovered its only $10, now I just park wherever the hell I want and on the rare occasion I get a ticket I laugh and write a check

I love it how they let them get over 100 tickets before they do something about it...sounds like typical do-nothing democrats not doing their job again at my expense. Get them out of there!

Yup, you guys have more cameras than any other country.
Any parking offense here is $10 except handicap parking which is $80. Thats because its a little town upstate, and all the locals are poor.
Go down to the city though, and I think the fines start at about $80.
Where I live everything is $20, parking in a handicap spot is $250 for a first offense $500 for a 2nd, and keeps increasing in smaller increments.

currently I have two unpaid parking tickets here... both on campus, so I doubt I'll ever get put on a list... and since they didn't appear on my last tuition balance sheet, I'm gonna guess they don't care...

total is $40...

Fred---If those came from WSU I wouldn't care either. However if they're from the Detroit parking gestapo in their little white cars, don't get more than 100 or you could end up on Parking's Most Wanted.

Tuna--- It's not the Democrats that run Detroit, it's the "Hip-Hop Mayor" and his family. I think he relizes that if he does this, and get's some money coming in, he may be able to get himself some more "bling-bling", and have a few more parties at the mayor's mansion with some 8 mile prostitues rather than the 6 mile ho's he had at the last one. Or just get better security so his wife doesn't find out about them.
