so, saturday morning. hanging around my apartment, when my buzzer rings for the door. I buzz someone in, and check my peephole to see who is there. a minute or 2 goes by, nobody comes. i think nothing of it, prolly a neighbor that needed to get into the building. I go hop in the shower.
bout an hour later, I get ready to go out and run some errands. I see a brown tube left outside my door. I check the address on it, its from AGD. Since I didn't recall ordering anything (though I do compuslively shop.. so, its not entirely impossible that I did) my suspicion is raised. I get my knife and cut the tape around the top, tip the tube over, and 4 posters fell out. 1 innovations poster with the ule body, warp ule body, tac one, flatline, minimag, 68 automag, intelliframe, y-grip, rt pro custom, flatline and a warp. 3 posters with the AGD logo with the lions (not the soccerball style) and at the top, it says AO NE 5.
I think to myself, I did talk to Jon about getting some posters, but didn't recall giving him my address to send me the posters too. Turns out that he just grabbed my address from the database and shipped me the posters. I was totally suprised, so, naturally, I called Jon today to express how happy I was that AGD was behind the event!
So, to everyone out there who was skeptical about attending the event, get on out here. bring all you can for people. As I said in the official thread (http://www.automags.org/forums/showt...hreadid=119722) If Jon sees that at least 100 people pre-reg, he would talk to Tom and let him know that we are really serious about him coming out to play with us. So, go, pre-register. you dont have to be from new england to come out. just sign up, pre-reg and come out and play. let all the AOers in the area get together and have a good day of ball.
