    I hate teeth

    ok I'm about ready to loose my mind here. After a 6 week wait to get in with the root canal guy. I'm finally able to chew on my other side again.. so I go to bk and get me a whopper only to swallow the actuall crown that had been bonded temporarly. I could screw. This will set me back another 2 weeks. I swear I'm going to get all implants! Gaah chalk teeth suck

      You could always go for the hillbilly look and just have them all removed except one in the front to open cans of pop with.

                                          well yeah and no... good dentist... that have been around are moving away. My dentist I see as a regular I've been seing since i was 4. Unfortunatly he moved to west des moines this past year so it's a 30 min drive now... blah. Anyway I'm due for a cleaning that keeps gettting moved out cause of my stupid teeth and since they are so far away now they try to do as much as possible at once. So the next day they could get everything done was 4-29-04. Besides it takes the lab 3 weeks to remake the crown since it's a composite crown. I'm not really complaining about JUST this insident... move like the whole past year.

                                          I had a filling go bad 3 times over the past 4 years and it was finally too much filling so the crown was the next step. This was in april of 2003 during a routine check-up. Well since i had my wisdome teeth pulled my inshurance was exausted... crappy inshurance So I waited till jan 2004 to have the crown done. Fortunatly I found out that with a pre-tax medical I could save TONS on x-tra dental work and I went to see an ortho, about getting these things looking nice and solve some mild crowding on the bottom. Not 2 weeks later I started having problems with another tooth. Late dec 2003 I went in for a look and they think it had too much filling and it cracked. So now I need 2 crowns for sure, both 1st molars on the left side. Unfortuantly after playing with it for 6 weeks we couldn;t get the pain to go away so it ended up being a root cannal too. That was wednesday. Anyway the ortho was supposed to start in jan and it's now been moved out as far as may 12th.
                                          But there's more, so the first temp crown I managed to break loose once, then when they put the crown on temporary I managed to break it loose 2 more times. So there's 3 x-tra trips right there, and mind you I did all this without chewing on that side, since I was in too much pain to put anything more then pudding on those molars. Then the second one ( the one I just swallowed ) I knocked the temp loose once and finally swallowed the composide.

                                          I've earned the nick name "the master of disaster" at the office. The girls kid me that I'm just to cheap to go to a bar to pick up chicks ( dental work is ALOT more expensive then drinks, besides that's asking for trouble hooking up with a bar chick ) but the girls are all married away. I DO enjoy the atmosphere, the people are alot of fun and very understanding. And the doc is exceptional, I just think I'm accident prone and have teeth made of chalk. There seriously isn't a dental story I can't top at this point.

                                          You don't wanna know what my dental bills look like right now, I could be driving those teeth to work....
                                          Anyway, hey thanks for checking in. kinda nice to have a dental grad on the board... might have to give you your own forum .
