in the minneapolis Star Tribune theres a section every thursday called news of the wierd, which has a whole bunch of little (true) stories that are, well, wierd. so today im reading it and i come across this (just a summary im my own words): a 12 yr old girl accused a 40 yr old man of sexually molesting her (or something along those lines). some quick research revealed that she has had over 40 partners in her short 12 year life! not just oral sex, but intercourse with some of them as well! I dont really know how they found out that she has had 40 partners, but since it was in the Star Tribune, i figure it was correct.

when i was 12, i still thought girls were icky. maybe nowdays 12 yr olds are a lot more "educated" on sex. or maybe she has a COMPLETELY messed up family. im guessing she has a broken home. sad things happen these days.

You can thank our wonderful commercial media for pounding sex & violence down our kids throats on a daily basis. Their marketing targets children & many (read: Millions of)parents allow it into their homes to attack their kids.

The media has very little to do, with kids having sex at the age of 12, it does affect what people consider beauty however.

But, most likely, this girl had sec with so many people, is because she was sexually abused at a young age.

Monkey is most likely right. She more than likely was abused as a child and found Sex a way of gaining approval because she was taught to do that. You dont know the whole story and just because of that does NOT give a 40 year old man any right or permission to abuse her further. I find this entire thread to be disgusting and heartless. I could care less if the poor kid had sex 100 times that does not make it right. He is an adult and she is STILL a minor and SHOULD be treated and protected. I feel sorry for her and hope he ends up in jail.

End of story. Sensational revelations about the young ladys past do NOT make anything legal at ANY POINT.... and things like that SHOULD NOT Be in the news.
