The only help I can give you is look at everything you have found and then look again.....it is a little bit of lateral thinking that's all. I would like to find if there is actually a cd anywhere but only as I would like to know not that it will help you escape

That other one is crazy... I cant get past the boiler/machine room looking place... with the gauges and the steam... nothing seems to do anything...

Cryer ... pay very careful attention to the boiler itself and look at the gauges careful. Everything you need to solve the last room of that puzzle are right in front of you. If you cannot beat it by tonight, email me and I will give you one more clue.

As for the CD-case in crimson room, it doesnt do anything its just a pointer to the CD tray. There is no CD anywhere in the game.

The following are the only items you can collect in crimson room --

Battery
Metal Rod
2 x Rings
Power Cord
CD Case
Tape
Box
Screwdriver
3 x Keys

First one was a bit puzzling, only because i didn't realize i had to shake the blinds to get the last fricken key, after that it was a breeze. Second game was amazingly easy.
