Tux for prom

Im going to my gf's prom next week and I got a pretty sweet tux. Its black shirt, pink vest and tie, and the rest black. It looks pretty sweet and it matches her dress. I have my senior dance coming up and want to get a really sweet tux, something thats never been done before. Any ideas?

take your paintball jersey and make it into a tux sorta thingie or you could take the boxes that your paintballs come in and make them into a suit

Well I'm dressing as the Monopoly guy this prom. Top hat, cane, monicle, and handlebar mustache. I'll allow you to go that way too since you won't be at my prom.

go in a willy wonka type of tux...the purple one with top hat and can...the whole 9...that would be pretty cool

I work in a tux shop and all the stuff that has been said in this thread already has been way overdone by many kids. If you truly want to be unique, you got to incorporate some sort of colored coat. You may think many people do it because of the whole "Dumb and Dumber" thing, but really not many at all do (at least not in my area). Just go for some color type thing. Don't do all black again, many do that already though you did wear pink so that's pretty unique (not many guys are willing to wear pink to match their date). A lot of the senior dances around here, kids wear just regular suits to theirs, so if you get some sort of colored coat chances are you might be the only one (if it's the same in your area).

now see, i have always wanted a tux to be made like an 80's running suit... with neon colors in geometric shapes placed everywhere....
