        NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

WTF am I gonna do w/o my Simpsons. Its like one of only two or three shows I watch!!

Still, Fox should pony up the dough. Its the only thing they've got thats ever made any money.

Does this seriosly disturb anyone else?

"I'm NOT going to get paid $125,000 for a single episode. I want more! I refuse to work! How can I support myself on this measly wage?"

Hell the cast of Friends wanted $1M/episode ...

Then again I also thinking anyone that asks for multi-million $$$ contracts to play a kids game (ie baseball, football, etc) is being greedy.

Meh. I LOVE the Simpsons, but I really could care less if they got cancelled. The last few seasons have been complete crap, and were rather lame, I think. If Fox refuses to pay the VA's, and the show goes off the air, I think it will be a good thing. At least the show can go off the air without causing a big stink beforehand (even crappier episodes). Maybe they'll actually release the good seasons on DVD quicker than they have been.

exactly. The latest episodes have sucked, the plots are crap and the jokes make barely any sense. the show has really taken a turn for the worse lately. Homer has aquired the I.Q of a 2 year old and bart has turned into a total pansy. I've been watching the classic episodes lately and i really miss when the SImpsons was actuallyy funny. I guess after watching family guy for a while, the Simpsons has sort of paled in comparison

D'OH. Hey that last few seasons havent been the best but they arent that bad. Some of the episodes were really lousy lately, but some are still funny as hell. I think 16 seasons is a little long for a show. They need to pay the writers more (not the actors) or get new ones.
