Anyway, I've owned both and like dirtbikes better. Easier to ride, easier to bail off, and just more fun in general. I love my YZ 125.

Id have to say dirt bikes just cause their faster and more fun, mainly I think atvs are just meant for pulling and towing things, i guess there are racing atvs but meh.

Indoor tracks.....I definitely like dirt bikes more. I've been riding since August with my cousins extra Yamaha TT 125, still haven't crashed, knock on wood, but as a crash I mean a hard one and done damage to my body. I don't like atv's as much just because...I don't know why, hehe. As for the whole which is safer, lets just say its easy to mess yourself up on either. Scariest thing I have ever seen, at my cousins track they just made a 40 footer, so my cousin starts going he hits and and is going to clear it but he took it on almost a diagonal and hit a low branch from a small tree, caught his bike and he fell from like 10 ft. feet up, it was the weirdest thing ever...

Your on the pipe dude!! Yy stock 98 yz 125 will keep up with ANY banshee you can find. All my friends ride quads and I gota bike and the ony diffrence I notice is, I can jump higher, I can go more places, and go through those places faster. On a bike you dont have the traning wheels slowing you down.

i got a yz 85 now

nice I just got a crf 450f I had a yz 85 they are really nice but I got a little too big so uped to a 4stroke and this thing when I hit up any gear after first the front end comes up its crazy amount of power

also quad riders are fat ppl or wannabe DIRT BIKERS

I prefer quads because they can be versatile and powerful as hell. I find them much more comfortable, as well. Dirt bikes are fun, too. I prefer the marginal stability of a quad.
