I use linux and windows. I use windows more becaue its easy, i dont have to go looking for some obscure rpm or files, i dont have to write new drivers for things. All drives mount automatically and i dont have to use user permissions.

    Example: My toshiba laptop.
Things I cant use with linux:
    >Numlock (i have to hit the function key plus f11, linux doenst understand)
    >Mousepad Gestures (it sucks not being able to scroll on a mousepad)
    >All the cool peripherial buttons on my laptop designed to make things easier
    >My infra-red port
    >Having to remount drives all the time as i switch them out
    >Being able to switch from my LCD panel to my Big monitor
    >Being able to go from LCD panel to a TV

    etc

um...that is like comparing honda accords to chevy trucks in theft ratings. like hondas, there are many more of them around and become easier targets. and just like cphil said hackers/phreakers/coderz want to mess up as much as possibly with as little work as possible. i completely agree taht windows is not as secure as other os', but i still like it. that is why symantec and mcafee survive.

And yes, the Mac IS faster.... There are many unbiased benchmark comparisons out there. To truly grasp the concept, just look at the Creative Industry(Print, Photography, WebDesign etc.). They all use Macs....

Even Intel(Look at the properties for some of their PDF files, it tells all)
