Seriously, he definetly deserves it after working so hard. But it might be a good idea to quit the soccer reffing. I know it's something hard to give up, because I play myself, but unless you're getting wonderful pay, it takes too much time. We get payed 7 bucks a game here.

if straight As was the agreement...then straight As it is. If straight B+s was the agreement...then you get the car. It doesnt seem like that was the deal though.

As death said, you don't get a bonus for almost cutting it. You get the bonus for DOING the task. Here, the task is all As.

As for your jobs, you certainly arn't trying as hard as possible if you work 4 jobs. Even if the banner and web design are somewhat lax(i assume), the soccer and bagging arn't and you are spending study time there. IS that wrong? No. Is it wrong to say you're working your hardest when you have four jobs? Yes.

Finally, studying all night before the exam is about the WORST thing you can do. You NEED sleep. History is all about reason. You can't reason well on no (or very little) sleep.

what do you do if you get all A's? You get the car, right? But say you slip a letter grade. Now what? you're kinda out of luck;just because of that one grade. I payed for half of my car. I can still keep it if my grades fall(to a reasonable extent), but i get A's and B's anyay. I would seriously recommend trying to pay for half the car.
The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, someone said to themselves. 'You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Another lesson you will learn is how to prioritize. If you're working four jobs, then I don't think getting straight A's was your number one priority. Time spent working is time you could have spent studying. As hard as you say you've worked, you could obviously have worked harder.
          Very good point.

4 jobs seems like alot buy in all reality it doens't take up that much time. I do the church stuff and websites in my spare time at home. Working at Albertsons goes by fairly quickly and I RARELY ref soccer.

I think that, that makes more sence than getting the car outright if I just try.

"Spending too much money on seats before you go for performance stuff, yup ricey
N20 isn't ricy if you use it right..."

First thing going into the car is a new engine. You may say that is ricey but I am getting the bottom of the line del Sol so a new engine is a MUST. SOHC just doens't cut it.

Next will be exhaust, intake, etc.

"if you are thinking of getting a del sol, screw that thought and buy a 240 sx instead"

240sx can't get 1.02 lg's with just a few suspension mods. This is deffinatly a track car. I am not building it to street race, I want something I can comfortably take to school and work and then take it on the track and do a few laps.

The type of car is NOT debateable so don't even bother. I am dead set on a del Sol unless the budget changes.

I went to bed no later than 10pm. Sorry if that was unclear in my post. That day before wasn't the first day I had studied either.

My real problem now is geometry. It used to be REALLY easy, so easy that I was doing all the problems in my head and getting 100's on everything. Just after we started a new lesson it got alot harder and now I am WAY behind. Going to go buy a calculator in a few days.

as someone said before, plenty of people get cars for doing absolutely nothing. just enjoy your car, and keep trying for good grades after you get it. ENJOY IT MAN!

              WOOOOOOOOOT!

I have a 85 in world history, (not an A but REALLY good for that class). We just got assigned a project that I can do in photoshop and it is a major grade and I can get up to a 110.

I am DEFFINTALY going to get that 110 and boost my grade alot! I'm happy, except that Albertsons told me I'd be off work at 6 and they changed it to 10. Ohh well, more money.
