Yep, Clear Channel ent. finally pulled Howard Stern off the their stations. Damn, that really pisses me off. I listen to Howard every morning before school.

I'm so glad the government is spending so much time on a REAL problem, like keeping these dirty people off the airwaves, rather than fighting those silly terrorists.
This pisses me off sooo much. Well whatever, YSP and Krock are Infinity, and they're sticking with Howard til the end. And then he'll go on satellite, where the FCC can't touch him (for now).GOOD TRADERS - Tunaman, tysonmachado, DanielGleason, BigBoy005, jimmyjobob, miniMAGster, paintballpapa, ChucktheMAGician, CLeatus, Doc Nickel, pbdeluca, ClassicMagger, Dueydog

As long as I get to keep my Elliot in the Morning, I'm happy.

Especially since one of the main responsibilities of the FCC is fighting terrorism.Originally posted by theraidenproject

Money wasted on the FCC is money the government could be wasting somewhere that could at least be remotely useful, or given back to the taxpayers.GOOD TRADERS - Tunaman, tysonmachado, DanielGleason, BigBoy005, jimmyjobob, miniMAGster, paintballpapa, ChucktheMAGician, CLeatus, Doc Nickel, pbdeluca, ClassicMagger, Dueydog

Not that I'm defending the FCC or anything, but I feel that it does have some uses. If you want complain about spending and getting money back, complain about all the "Pork" spending that goes on in Washington D.C. Just read up on all the bs programs that our tax money is spent on and that'll get you angry, if you are a reasonable person.Originally posted by theraidenproject

"I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it" ~ Friends of Voltaire
I really dont like what Howard has to say, he's a sick man and some of his topics are disgusting, but if you dont want to hear what he says, dont listen.I throw newspapers for the OC Register, it sucks...

Well guys here's an opportunity to call/write your Senator. There is a bill in the senate (it may have passed) that will change the fines from $27,000 to $500,000. This is per incident. This also gives the FCC the ability to go after not only the broadcaster but to also go after anyone who speaks or does anything deemed offensive. For example, Bono could be fined for dropping the "F-bomb" at the Bammies (I believe this was the occasion).
Stern claims not only can they go back three years but that the rules as to what's offensive/off-bounds is arbitrary and unclear.
He claims that these changes in attitude from the FCC stems not only with the Janet issue, but more to his change from supporting the current administration to his deep concerns over a variety of issues with said administration.
It's perhaps more than coincidental that Michael Powell (Colins son) is the head of the FCC. Also, there is some speculation as to the ties of the heads of Clear Channel with the administration.
What I'm saying is that it may give some creedence to what Howard has to say.
Some may find much of what's on his home page interesting.
Official site features news, show personalities, hot topics and image archive from The Howard Stern Show.
Some of this is quite partisan and some of it may be interesting.Thanotos

I hate Clear Channel stations, they play the same things over and over and over and over. I think performers(not artists) pay them to play their crap just to pound their music into heads of people to fuel their record sales. Really when have you ever heard a new artist on a Clear Channel station? Its mostly the independent rock and rap stations that play local and new stuff. Clear Channel must burn!
*Imagine a big flashy creative sig pic that either involves a cartoon, paintball player, some stupid internet movement or symbol with my name creatively tied into it because I'm too lazy to make one and if you don't like it, get over it!
