Yeah, gotta watch out for that big government conspiracy... being mean to poor little old Howard Stern...

Seriously folks, that guy has been violating FCC laws ever since he got on the air. The difference is that now, with Janet at teh Superbowl, public pressure is on the government to crack down on sexual or profane broadcasts. I listen to teh show occasionally, and even though he is sometimes funny, the world is really not losing anything by getting rid of Howard Stern.
I seriously hope they go after Jerry Springer, Sally Jessie Whatsherface, and the rest of daytime TV after this. Maybe the world's IQ will jump a few points...

another bs gov tradition is how if a dep doesnt spend all its money that dep doesnt get to keep it, it get taken away and given to other deps, so this means dep make sure thay use all the money in their budget even if they dont have to
That's not just a gov't tradition. Many companies work the same way. And if you really think about it it's not BS.

A department requests a budget and is given it based on their justification of their spending forcast. If they don't spend it, their forcast was wrong and in the end it's not their money to keep.

What's BS is comapnies/gov't not having spending monitored so that departments can't get away with dumping money on non-budgeted items at the end of the fiscal period.
