best program to create DVDs with menus and chapters

well? i tried ulead and for some reason it took four 24 minute episodes of a show and said even those 4 wouldn't fit on the DVD. plus, ulead runs really really slowly. what's the best program to use to make a custom DVD with menus and chapters?

i think its because it has to create break points and that sometimes take a while and also you may have a very slow drive how fast is it ?

no it doesn't BURN slowly, it just runs slowly. and that's just ulead's inefficiency.

no it doesn't BURN slowly, it just runs slowly. and that's just ulead's inefficiency. ulead said that 100 minutes of anime wouldn't fit on a DVD; ulead thinks that 4.7GB = 80minutes of video, not 120. is DVD X Copy really good? amazon doesn't have good reviews of it :-/.

DVD Decrypter then Clone DVD, work nice for me, I make copies all of the time with 8GB movies and put them onto the 4.7 GB disks...

After you used DVD Decrypter to put it on your HD, use Clone DVD, it will take all the little pieces that DVD Decrypter broke the disk down into and write it perfectly back onto a blank disk. My origional Xbox and PS2 don't even recognize that they are playing a written disk.

Another program I have reacently been messing with is Alcohol 120%, I can't tell you much about it as of now, but it has a lot of nice features and options that you can go through and change. It looks promising.

If you just want to write things to the disk like the four different movie files and Roxio Easy CD and DVD Creator 6 is good for that, but It will probably not work if you plan on playing it in your dvd player. If you just want to watch it on your comp then it would play fine.

If you have 4 seperate movie disks that you want to put on the DVD then that is a different story.

Any other questions, or if you need any of this software feel free to e-mail me [email protected]

don't forget about DVDshrink to compress files after using dvd decrypter. And Nero 6 is awesome to burn the shrinked files onto a dvd. Go to www.doom9.org they have full tutorials and all the software to download.

DVD Shrink is software to backup DVD discs. You can use this software in conjunction with DVD burning software of your choice, to make a backup copy of any DVD video disc.

xcopy was pulled because it included decrypting software as well..they've pulled that aspect which forces you to download some sort of decrypting software (Unless you have an old version of it prior to the lawsuit)

that's what I use to do my backups.

unless you have a dual layer dvd burner you won't be able to fit a full size dvd on 4.7 GB. so you will have to shrink it...i used the program on nero 6 but i didn't like it very much. Just didn't give me as many options as I would like.

anyone know of anyone selling dvd x copy platinum? or has a license they don't want?

i just burned my first DVD. i first used dvd decrypter, and then just burned it onto a DVD using nero 6. overall it's pretty good, but not the best. i'd love to get my hands on dvd x copy, though.

DVD Shrink is all you will need.
                              Rips
                              Copresses
                              Encodes
                              and burns to your disk

Region options, full preview, fast operation. A bit laggy but can't compain for a 100% free program.
