Im not stupid!!!! ACT scores came in today!!!

I got a 26, on my second time taking it. The first time I got a 19, thats a 7 point jump.

Im excited!! Just had to share.

Although it is hard to believe I am almost positive that ACT stands for A College Test.

Nice, I recieved a 28 on mine. The college I am going to (Puget Sound!!!) combines your best scores from the SATs and the ACTs, so if you didn't do too well in the SATs it may not hurt you too badly depending on the college you are trying to get into. The only way to find out if a college does this is to contact the Admissions Dept

i scored a 32 on mine. i was offered a partial scholarship to the university of hawaii and texas a&m. (the only schools i sent my grades to) my dad refused to pay my room and board because he thought the my score was a "fluke" because my grades in school were not all that hot and thats prolly why it wasnt a full ride. nothing more demoralizing than having your test scores called a "fluke" because you blew off some of your classes. bottom line, make sure your gpa is on par with your test scores and good things will happen.

I made a 19 when I took it in 7th grade I didn't know ANYTHING in the science section, and about half of the math I didn't know. Everything else was pretty simple.

the science section is really easy.. really all it tests is your ability to read graphs and charts.

I hate the grammar section

I loved the ACT compared to the SATs. Got my 33 and ran with it. Best of all, that score got me in UC Santa Barbara and UCSD.
