ha i took that pic!! and can you belive that s from a camra phone!!it looks really nasty in person and to answer your question no i have never had a welt that bad i did though have one on my gut year ago and it was purple.

Yes, I had a worse shot...

I got hit just to the left of my adams apple about 2 inches away with a hot gun(ahh the good ol' days of backyard ball). I had blood soaking through the band-aid. I still have a pretty noticable scar and its been a year.

The most painful shot I've ever taken was from less than 3 feet away straight to the throat. It hit me between the windpipe and the muscle of my neck.

It felt different: not like a surface impact, but rather it felt like it went through my neck. The ball didnt break (astoundingly), but I didnt care to stay in the game...

Surprisingly enough, it didnt swell or change color. There was the tell-tale red ring, but it was no more visible than a normal shot.

Despite all outward appearances, however, it hurt. I didnt want to move for a few minutes, and it hurt to talk, breathe, chew/swallow food for the next week.

Yes. mine was very painfull...

This picture may not look bad, but keep in mind that this is a "real" scar and I was shot in, well, if I recall correctly, it was 1999 - 5 years ago. My daughter and I were on teh same team (scenario game) and she had been telling me that the seer on her phoon was too loose, but every time I tried it, it seemed okay.

The shot is on the back of my left calf. She was walking behing me, swinging her marker at normal pace as she was walking (she doesnt' keep her finger on the trigger) and it shot from the motion of her arm as it was closest to my leg - about 3-6 inches.

MAN YOU GUYS SUCK! I got shot in the leg and I still have a welt, it fricken broke the skin! It was about seven different colors ranging fomr bright green to purple. My friend has the pics, will post. You think that your shot was bad? it wasnt. I couldnt even walk for three days. Remarkably, after I got shot I played 3 more rounds, and went home and coulden't walk.
I got shot from point blank no space in betweeb barrel and leg. 2x in the same spot! I still have welt from 4 months ago too. The guy went back and chronoed his gun at 430 fps. I wanted to pound his *** in, but I coulden't, my leg woulden't let me.
