          hehehe....

That is one big arse single cylinder too. Pretty darn smooth and well counterbalanced. I was suprised. What I liked most is the Carb is hanging right out there where you can get to it. And its narrow and well balanced. Very well balanced as a matter of fact.

And if ya take good care of it, and take it out every day and pay lots of attention to it, it may one day grow up to be a real motorcycle!!!!!

                  LOL...

Well maybe some of you saw earlier I was going towords the Yamaha V Star but some things convinced me to go with this. For one its narrower and MUCH lighter for the same CC's. This thing is 352 pounds vs the V Star is 505 pounds. And its noticable. The V star is a twin V with a shaft drive. But its wide as a pig and the weight is more lateral. As you tilt it over you can feel that weight shift much more and sooner. And the carbs are literaly burried up under the Gas tank. Can't even see them! For me this was sort of important. I mean I like to tinker and this Suzuki is made for it. I was dubious about the vibrations on a single though. But after test riding them both I could not tell any difference. Suprisingly smooth for a single. So with that issue satisfied and the 1000 dollars difference in price and the ability to mess with the carb without major dismantling... and of course the fact that I am pushing 150 pounds less weight with the same 650cc's... sort of put it over the edge more than I thought it would. Its plenty dam quick too. And very manuverable at slow speeds. Leans well at slow speeds. A bit better than that V Star did. This Suzuki is at least Belt driven. Thats nice. Honda's ACE didn't even have that! So it was a compromise sort of. But at a grand less not much of one.
