Are there any other old-timers (35+) in here who are tired of getting carded for paintball supplies (cigarettes, etc.)? Yes, most people over 20 want to look younger, but there are some who get tired of being mistaken for a teenager eventually.

Just wondering if I'm truly alone?

I'm 34, and I often get carded when buying beer on US road trips. I don't get carded in Canada so I guess I must look 19, but not 21. Or maybe they just want to see where the accent comes from. I'd do that if I worked retail.

I haven't been carded for anything since I was 13-14.

Now, after passing my early 30's, people are starting to think I'm a little younger than I am.

I figure at this rate,I should start getting 'carded' again when I'm around 60.

Dwab, have you worn out a license yet, pulling it out of your wallet? On mine once the edges got so worn you couldn't read the expiration date anymore and I had to replace it, 2 years before it expired.

It's been happening less and less, but I did get carded going into a club this weekend...but maybe the guy was just being nice. Up until about 2 years ago (I'm 35 now), I would get carded for over 18 stuff like cigarettes and lottery tickets.

I never mind getting carded (I'm 30). Besides the fact it helps me think I'm not too old, it means that someone actually cares enough to ask for ID. There are a couple townships around here that have "no exceptions" when carding for cigarettes and alcohol. You MUST show ID to purchase those items, and I applaud them for it.
