I know the romaji for it but not what the words mean... here's the phonetic if some one can look it up... I'll see if I can find the words themselves later..

top to bottom from right to left is how japanese is supposed to be read so that's how I'll post it.

I only took two semesters of japanese so they aren't words I recognize.



I've been looking all day and haven't found anything comprehensible in the characters that were assembled. Though it was motivation to find a few new translator pages.

Thanks everyone! I just threw the pic up to share with you guys and I'm glad you like it.

The text on the right is this. From left to right, first line is "This is wha" and the second line is "AGD Pride". I did the AGD Pride line first but thought that it didn't look right with just one so I threw some random characters together to get the desired effect.

The extract for the players is kinda poor (didn't have a whole lot of time to work on it) so I'm planning on redoing it at some point. The pics of the players were taken by Troy Sorenson from National at last years World Cup when we played 10-man. He did a great job.

BTW, do you have a high-res version of that paint splatter?

Yep, I do. The background image was one that I took when I was experimenting with some Macro filters that I recently picked up. The image used above is actually flipped horizontally, I originally shot it with the paint in the upper left corner.

If you guys would like access to the original, hi-res version, let me know and I'll see what I can do about posting it online. I believe Jayloo is helping me with that. It was taken with a 6.3 megapixel camera so you'll be able to make some good size poster prints out of it if you like.

Carefull Scooter.... I might interpret the Japanese Characters as cursing and have to ban ya!

No seriously many people use oriental language characters without knowledge of what they mean lately I have noticed. Even some I have read about have had them as Tattoo's and have NO IDEA what they permanently put on thier bodies! Now I, for one, would be a bit carefull about that being tattoo'd on my body as it might just mean something totaly embarrasing or even incite a riot or something.
